I am very unique but simple 18-years-old girl. However, my appearance is disproportionated to my age. My friends always said that I am in my twenties which are a “bad new” for me. But, I accepted the truth positively. I am tall and thin, with short dark hair. I have a fair complexion. Unlike the others, I do not have any nickname. So, all of my friends and teachers in school had called me “Tiong” which is my surname because it is easier for them to remember it. So, who am I?
I am Tiong Chui Lim.I live in a family with a modest competence. There are seven members in my family which has included my parents. I am the third of the five children. So, I am in the middle of five siblings. My eldest brother got Public Service Department scholarship in 2006 and now he is studying in USA whereas my eldest sister is studying in University Kebangsaan Malaysia since 2008.My youngest sister and brother are studying in SMK St.Elizabeth and SMK Sacred Heart respectively. We are a very close family. We always share our happiness and sadness together. I love my family very much.
At the age of five, my mum had sent me to Tadika Ding Hua.This is the first place where I started to learn from basic and gain knowledge. Then, l studied in SJK(C)Dung Sang from 1998 to 2003.I learned many things of different aspects in this school. For example, I became monitor from standard one to standard six. I had trained to become a responsible person. I struggled a lot before I sat for UPSR and I got 7A in my UPSR. After that, I entered my secondary school which is SMK St.Elizabeth.In this school, I participated in many activities and the most memorable activity was I took part in Toyota Eco-youth programme. There were seven members in a group and I was the president. We had been selected to represent our state to compete with other groups which came from different states. We took one year to complete this project and our group got the third position in this competition.
I was also a deputy head prefect in school since Form 4.I was grateful of it. I think it was a good experience for me to become a prefect in school. We need to help teachers to control the disciplines of student in school. We were also organised some activities ourselves like Happy Teacher’s Day. From these activities, I was trained to become a leader. Besides, I am the one who is active in outdoor activities. I like playing badminton and jogging during my leisure time. These activities are beneficial to my health. Furthermore, it is a way for me to release my tension.
In conclusion, these are my personal details which made me special from others. Now, I am an INTEC student under A-Level Medicine programme. I am taking major chemistry under ministry of education. I will struggle and study hard in order to achieve my ambition.
